SPLASH study: Survey to Profile Men with Low Back Pain and Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms.

Published on by Tom Vredeveld

Lower urinary tract symptoms and low back pain often co-exist in men aged 40 years and older. However, suffering from both conditions may not necessarily increase daily suffering. The goal of this study is to compare men with low back pain, men with lower urinary tract symptoms or men suffering from both conditions on levels of physical functioning, mental health, quality of life, quality of sleep and daily functioning and define which specific complaints may discriminate between these groups of men.
