This package contains the data, figures, and code pertaining to the article 'Bouba/Kiki in Homer? Looking for iconicity in the language of the epics'.

There are four csv files. These contain the data and figures for data sets 1 to 7, as specified in section 4 of the article. 

There are two Python files. 
One contains the texts of the Iliad and the Odyssey used in this study. The texts are stored in different ways (per book, per epic, the two epics together, as strings and as lists of lines).
The other contains the code used to extract the relevant figures from the data sets. This consists of dictionaries (of Greek phonology and the Greek accent) and functions (such as a syllabifier).
