A Formative Evaluation of the Applicability of Design Guidance - data
We have developed design guidance to assist teachers in designing blended learning environments (i.e., combinations of offline and online delivery methods) that support students’ needs. This design guidance is intended for all kinds of students and for use in all educational programs, regardless of subject area. As part of developing the guidance, we conducted a formative evaluation to collect feedback on its applicability. This study presents that evaluation. We invited teachers to apply the guidance to design a combination of offline and online delivery methods for their education programs. We collected qualitative feedback by exploring how teachers understand and follow the guidance and how the guidance, according to them, can be improved.
