EXPERIMENT FILES - The relation between numeral acquisition and morphosyntactic cues in Dutch kindergartners with and without (suspected) DLD.

<p dir="ltr">This repository contains the experiment files for the study reported on in the article "When children cannot count on morphosyntax: the relation between numeral acquisition and morphosyntactic cues in kindergartners with and without (suspected) DLD."</p><p dir="ltr"><b>The NWR RAR file </b>contains the instruction + score sheets for the Nonword Repetition task. We used the task designed by Rispens and Baker (2012).</p><p dir="ltr"><b>The Next Number RAR file </b>contains the instruction + score sheets for the Next Number task. We based the design of this task on previous research by Schneider et al. (2020) and Schneider et al. (2021).</p><p dir="ltr"><b>The TellMeGiveMe RAR file </b>includes the experiment files of the Tell Me task and Give Me task (Wynn, 1992, Colomé & Noël, 2012; Meyer, 2019; De Vries et al., 2019). The file "Read Me.docx" file explains how the experiment works. The RAR file also contains a folder with the instruction files for the two tasks (in Dutch and English) and the score sheets.</p><p dir="ltr">We cannot share the materials of the other tasks reported on due to copyright restrictions, but the file TaskDescriptions.docx gives a full overview of the used test battery + references.</p><p dir="ltr">These tasks were used during the research for a dissertation written Heleen de Vries, under supervision of Judith Rispens, Caitlin Meyer, and Alla Peeters-Podgaevskaja.</p>
