This document aims to provide a roadmap for the design and further development of an e-science infrastructure for remote monitoring of avian movement. Such an infrastructure should support long-term research on avian movement and collaboration as well as the development of tools for human-wildlife interactions.  This work was conducted in the context of the NWO Open Technology Programme, project Interactions between birds and offshore wind farms: drivers, consequences, and tools for mitigation (project number 17083)
