4DRL Report Series 14 - Cloud-based VR. A manual for setting up a Hubs VR cloud service

<p dir="ltr">This text is intended as a manual that provides instructions to set up a Hubs cloud service, which is an online collaborative Virtual Reality (VR) environment, where users can create and use online 3D virtual environments in which there can be multiplayer interaction and collaboration. Funded by the Incentive scheme Open and online education, this manual is produced in the context of the Virtual Past Places project (Waagen et al. 2024). For this project, the 4D Research Lab explored the potential of Hubs for educational purposes, by designing multiple virtual reality learning environments together with teachers and technology-enhanced learning experts.
