Temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, PAR/light, and salinity data from in situ loggers in the dry season.

Temperature, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen (DO) were continuously logged at all four sites, whereas pH and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) were semi-continuously logged over two weeks during the dry season (12-03-2020 to 21-03-2020) and five weeks during the wet season (28-10-2020 to 02-12-2020). Logging frequency was 15 min for the conductivity and PAR loggers, and five min for the pH and DO loggers. Loggers were placed on a cement block, ensuring that the PAR sensor and conductivity cell were vertically mounted (Fig. S1a). The loggers were cleaned of debris every other day with a toothbrush.
