The aim of this project is to explore the role of self-regulated learning (SRL) strategies in blended learning environments (BLEs) within higher education. This research focuses on the implementation, instructional methods, and the effects of these strategies on knowledge retention. The project includes multiple studies utilising a broad array of methods, such as literature reviews, surveys among teachers and students, and field experiments. These approaches are designed to gain insights into how SRL strategies can be effectively implemented and which interaction methods (both human and non-human) are most conducive to successful learning. Ultimately, this project seeks to identify strategies that enhance and support self-regulated learning, which is crucial for fostering academic success in blended learning environments.
