OH-SMArt Symposium 2023 Automatic Speech Recognition

Presentation on Human Language Technology (HLT) and AI (Artificial Intelligence). Specifically, the most recent developments in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Whisper (OpenAI) are discussed. Presented at the OH-SMArt symposium that took place on 19 April 2023 in De Pont, Tilburg, the Netherlands. Oral History – Stories at the Museum around Artworks (OH-SMArt) is a long term initiative to significantly improve the digital research chain around using Oral History and spoken narratives, with research into artworks and museums as a use case.
